Apr 30,  · I love the mixing of the new Tegan and Sara album, as well as numerous other mixes Manny Marroquin has done, like Bruno Mars, etc. I'm working with an artist right now and would like to get Manny to mix a track but fear he is out of the price range, can anyone suggest anyone similar to Manny's taste in mixing mostly to do with the bottom end and width of his mixes that may be a little more.

I love bouncing down to digital (from tape) for this very reason. But I still highly doubt this statement is terribly true. I find when bouncing down from tape, the effects are less noticeable, but when I use just a DAW to do an entire recording I can't record a snare drum digitally to save my life without getting this weird digital "popping" sound.
